Who you are dealing with

Quotes and prices

Prices shown on this site are starting points per vehicle size and are not a fixed quote. The final price depends on the size, condition and requirements of your vehicle and is confirmed before work begins. Heavily soiled vehicles, pet hair, heavy tar, sap or damage may increase the price. I will always tell you before starting, not afterwards.

Access and suitability

I supply my own water and power, so no facilities are required from you. I do need safe, legal and reasonable access to the vehicle with enough space to open the doors and work around it. If a location turns out to be unsafe or unsuitable on arrival, we will agree an alternative or reschedule.

Booking and cancellation

Bookings are made by phone, email or the quote form. Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or rearrange. Repeated late cancellations may mean I ask for confirmation before holding a slot.

Payment

Payment is due on completion, once you have inspected the vehicle. Cash and bank transfer are accepted. No deposit is required for standard valeting.

Satisfaction guarantee

If any part of the work is not to the agreed standard, tell me at handover and I will put it right at no extra cost. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Pre-existing condition

Valeting and detailing improve the condition of a vehicle but cannot reverse pre-existing damage. Stone chips, scratches through the clear coat, dents, corrosion, failed lacquer, burns, tears and permanent staining cannot be removed by cleaning. Where paint correction is carried out, the achievable result depends on paint thickness and condition, and I will assess and explain this before starting.

Your responsibilities

Please remove valuables and personal items before your appointment. I take reasonable care but cannot accept responsibility for items left in the vehicle. Please also tell me in advance about any aftermarket paintwork, wraps, repairs, or existing damage.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
