Services

Six services. All of them mobile.

Whether the car needs keeping on top of or bringing properly back from the dead, one of these covers it. Everything is carried out at your home or workplace, with my own water and power.

  1. Mini Valet

Regular upkeep that keeps a good car looking good.

The one most of my regulars book. A proper contact wash, wheels and arches cleaned, glass streak-free, interior vacuumed and wiped down. Designed to run on a schedule, every two, four or six weeks, so your car never gets far enough gone to need putting right.

    • Alloy wheels, tyres and arches cleaned and dressed
    • All glass cleaned inside and out, streak-free
    • Interior vacuum throughout including boot
    • Dashboard, console and door cards wiped down
    • Spray sealant top-up for beading and protection
    From £45
    Takes
    1–1.5 hours

  2. Full Valet

Inside and out, back to a standard you would be happy to sell it at.

Everything in the Mini Valet, taken considerably further. Interior gets shampooed and extracted, plastics cleaned properly rather than glossed over, and the exterior is decontaminated with tar and fallout removers before sealing. This is the one to book if the car has been neglected for a while, or before it goes up for sale.

    • Everything in the Mini Valet
    • Tar, iron and fallout decontamination
    • Carpets and fabric seats shampooed and hot-extracted
    • Leather cleaned and conditioned where fitted
    • Air vents, seals, shuts and crevices detailed
    • Machine-applied sealant, 3–4 months protection
    From £85
    Takes
    3–4 hours
    Best for
Neglected cars, pre-sale preparation, seasonal deep cleans
    Book Full Valet
  3. Executive Valet

The showroom finish. My most complete valet.

The top of the range, and the one to book when you want the car looking genuinely showroom rather than simply clean. Everything in the Pro Valet, taken further: a two-stage machine polish, every shut, seal and crevice detailed, leather fully restored and protected, and a long-life coating sealed on top. This is the package people book before a wedding, a sale, a show, or because they have owned the car ten years and want it back the way it looked on the forecourt.

    • Everything in the Pro Valet
    • Two-stage machine polish for maximum gloss and clarity
    • Every door shut, seal, jamb and crevice hand-detailed
    • Leather deep cleaned, restored and protected
    • Engine bay cleaned, dressed and finished
    • Long-life coating, 12 months or more of protection
    From £250
    Takes
    Full day, sometimes two
    Best for
Showroom finish, weddings, shows, pre-sale, cars you are proud of
    Book Executive Valet
  4. Paint Correction & Detailing

Machine polishing that removes defects rather than filling them.

Corrective machine polishing to permanently remove swirl marks, wash marring and light scratches. I measure paint depth before cutting, work in stages, and finish with a refining polish so the gloss is genuine rather than hidden under filler that washes out in a month. Multi-stage work is quoted after I have seen the paint under proper lighting.

    • Paint depth readings taken before any cutting
    • Full decontamination and clay treatment
    • Single, two or three-stage correction as required
    • Refining polish for true gloss, no fillers
    • Protection applied to lock in the finish
    • Before and after inspection under detailing lights
    From £250
    Takes
    Full day to multiple days
    Best for
Swirled paintwork, older cars, enthusiast-owned vehicles
    Book Paint Correction & Detailing
  5. Ceramic Coating

Years of protection, not months. Applied over corrected paint.

A ceramic coating is only ever as good as the paint underneath it, so this is always applied after correction. Once cured you get hard, chemical-resistant, hydrophobic protection that makes the car dramatically easier to wash and keeps the gloss locked in. I will talk you through realistic durability rather than quoting numbers off a bottle.

    • Mandatory paint correction stage beforehand
    • Panel wipe and full surface preparation
    • Professional-grade ceramic coating applied by hand
    • Glass, wheels and trim coatings available
    • Controlled curing before handover
    • Aftercare guidance and maintenance wash schedule
    From £350
    Takes
2–3 days including correction and curing
    Best for
New cars, freshly corrected paint, long-term ownership
    Book Ceramic Coating
  6. Interior Deep Clean

A full interior reset. Spills, pets, smoke, kids, work vans.

Interior-only, but taken to the limit. Seats and carpets shampooed and hot-extracted, headlining treated carefully, every vent and seam cleaned, leather deep cleaned and conditioned. The service I get called for most after a spillage, a dog, or a few years of family use.

    • Complete strip-out vacuum including under seats and rails
    • Fabric seats and carpets shampooed and hot-extracted
    • Leather deep cleaned, conditioned and protected
    • Headlining, pillars and boot treated
    • Vents, seams, switchgear and shuts detailed
    • Odour treatment where required
    From £120
    Takes
    3–5 hours
    Best for
Family cars, pet owners, work vehicles, post-spillage

How it works

Four steps, no faff

  1. 01

    Ring or message me

Tell me the car, roughly what state it is in and where it lives. I will tell you what it needs and what it costs. No visit required for standard valeting.

  2. 02

    Pick a time and place

Home, work, anywhere with room to open the doors. I do not need your tap, your socket or your driveway to be anything special.

  3. 03

    I do the work myself

Same person every time. Two-bucket washing, proper chemistry, separate wheel tools, and as long as the job actually takes.

  4. 04

    Look it over, then pay

You inspect the car before anything changes hands. If something is not right I put it right. That is what the guarantee means.

Questions

Straight answers

Do you need access to water and electricity?

No. The van carries its own water tank and power supply, so I am completely self-contained. I can work at an office, a flat, a car park or a street with no outside tap. All I need is enough room to open the car doors and walk around the vehicle.

What is the difference between valeting and detailing?

Valeting is cleaning: bringing a car back to its best condition through washing, decontamination and interior work. Detailing goes further and corrects the paint itself, using machine polishing to permanently remove swirl marks and restore gloss, then sealing it with a durable coating. Most cars need valeting. Cars whose paint has been damaged by poor washing need detailing.

Why should I have my car detailed?

Four common reasons. New car owners want better, longer-lasting protection than a main dealer offers. Long-term owners want that new-car feeling back without changing the car. Enthusiasts see swirl marks in sunlight and want the finish perfect again. And anyone who washes their own car wants a ceramic-coated surface that is far easier to keep clean.

How often should I have the car done?

It depends on how the car is used and stored. A car kept outside and driven daily benefits from a maintenance valet every four to six weeks. A garaged car used at weekends can go considerably longer. If the car has been corrected and coated, a maintenance wash every four to eight weeks plus a check-over every six to twelve months keeps it where it should be.

Can old or high-mileage cars be brought back?

Usually, yes. New cars can be perfected within the first six months. Cars up to two years old typically reach around 99 per cent. Older cars are harder to assess without seeing them, but with the right package most still reach 99 per cent of their defects corrected. Paint has physical limits and I will tell you honestly what is achievable before you commit.

How far in advance should I book?

As far ahead as you can. I am in high demand and I would rather give you a time that genuinely suits you than squeeze you in badly. For a Mini Valet a few days is usually enough. For a Pro Valet, an Executive Valet or any correction and coating work, give me a week or two if you can, and considerably more if it is for a wedding, a show or a sale with a fixed date. Regular maintenance customers get a standing slot, which is the easiest way to never have to think about it.

What is the difference between the Pro Valet and the Executive Valet?

The Pro Valet is a full day that resets the car: everything cleaned and decontaminated, a single-stage machine polish to cut back swirl marks, engine bay done, and durable protection applied. The Executive Valet goes further for a genuine showroom finish, with a two-stage machine polish for maximum gloss, every shut and seal hand-detailed, leather fully restored, and a longer-life coating. If you want the car clean and protected, book the Pro Valet. If you want people to ask whether you have bought a new one, book the Executive.

How long will my car take?

A maintenance valet is around an hour to an hour and a half. A full valet takes three to four hours. The Pro Valet is a full day. Paint correction and ceramic coating work runs across one to three days depending on the condition of the paint and curing time.

Which areas do you cover?

I cover the whole of the Wirral and surrounding areas from my base in New Brighton, Wallasey, covering Birkenhead, Moreton, Upton, Heswall, West Kirby and Bebington, and roughly 15 miles beyond. If you are unsure whether you are in range, ring me on 07588 738680 and I will tell you straight away.

How do I pay, and do you take card?

Payment is on completion once you have looked over the car and you are happy with it. Cash and bank transfer are both fine. Ring 07588 738680 to check current card availability. There is no deposit for standard valeting.

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the car and I will tell you honestly what it needs, including when the cheaper option is the right one. Ring Kev on 07588 738680.
